FileMaker Launches FileMaker Cloud
FileMaker, Inc. (ww.filemaker.com) has released its cloud-based platform for managing and running custom apps, FileMaker Cloud. The offering provides the simplicity, performance and reliability of the FileMaker Platform without having to spend time and resources deploying and maintaining a server, according to Ann Monroe, vice president of worldwide marketing, FileMaker, Inc..
FileMaker Cloud will provide organizations looking to develop and manage custom apps with minimal administrative overhead, speedy deployment, low up-front costs and instant scalability, she adds. It enables businesses, both small and large, to deploy custom mobile apps that save time and money while creating efficiencies and better customer experiences.
The company supports business transformation with innovative offerings such as the Idea to iPad Bundle and the free Service Business Toolkit. FileMaker Cloud is currently only available in the United States and Canada. Customers can sign up to be notified when FileMaker Cloud becomes available in other regions.
FileMaker Cloud provides access to custom apps using FileMaker Pro 15.0.2, FileMaker Go 15.0.2 and FileMaker WebDirect – all without administrative hassle. Data is managed by FileMaker Cloud and runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud.
